Two engineering notebooks of W.E. Tracy of Aspen Colorado. Tracy was superintendent of the Liberty Bell Gold Mining Co, in Aspen and published several technical articles on Aspen area mining including "Engineer and Mining Journal" titled " Cyanide Practice at the Liberty Bell Mill, Telluride, Colorado" from 1906. Sketches include pumps, timbering. ore bins, terminals, tramways, frames and shafts. Mines include the Smuggler, Durant, Mollie Gibson and Free Silver. Item #310
