Contours shown by hachures marks with location of creeks, rivers, railroads, cities, towns, roads, sections and names of landowners. Map attached to wooden dowels on top and bottom. As shown in the scans, there are several tears with old cello tape repairs at the top edge. These tears would be an easy conservation project but a little costly. Good Condition.

Detailed map from 1907--Pennington County, South Dakota drawn by Frank Exline. No publisher noted. Railroads noted by name include the White River Valley Railroad, the Elkhorn Valley Railroad and the Northwestern Railraod. The only copy found is at the South Dakota School of Mines. Presumably rare.
