1796 manuscript indenture from Herkimer County New York recorded by John Frank. Indenture signed, sealed and delivered by James Hall to Biddad Noble.

Of particular note is the beautiful 1793 Eagle Watermark on paper handmade by Andrew Onderdonk of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Luckily, manuscript text does not cover the watermark, so it is easy to discern. This intricate watermark is #743 in "American Watermarks 1690-1835. Most paper used in the United States in the 18th century was imported from Europe. Item #1274
