[Yellowstone] Isabel Haynes Personalized Stationery Collection

[Yellowstone]. Haynes, Isabel. Personal Stationery and Related Materials

A collection of printed stationery, envelopes, letterhead, calling cards and mailing labels, all unused, along with Isabel Haynes’ funeral program from 1993. The stationery and cards are printed with Haynes’ private residential address in Bozeman. Nearly all are in fine condition: One card has a dog-eared corner. 70 total pieces, 14 unique designs.

Isabel Haynes took a summer job in Yellowstone in 1922 at the age of 23, and essentially never left. She managed the Roosevelt Lodge for three years, married Jack Ellis Haynes in 1930, and became an integral part of the Haynes family operations. She survived Jack by three decades, donating a large portion of the family archives to the Montana State University. The materials in this lot were sold as part of an estate auction after her death in 1993. Item #1438
