Stated No. 17, Revised Edition, though a handwritten note to top edge reads “No. 16”. Stitched wrappers, first and last leaves disbound, chip to top edge of first leaf recto and remnants of adhesion to its verso, notation to top edge, scattered wear and spotting, predominantly at edges. Very good Condition.

A scarce pamphlet from the Reorganized Church, founded in 1860 in Illinois. Its separation from the Latter Day Saints occurred in the schism of 1844, after the murder of Joseph Smith and the ensuing dispute over the succession.

OCLC shows this pamphlet within a collection at the University of Utah, as well as at three other institutions (BYU, Columbia and Central Michigan University), as of July 2024.
