11 ½ x 8 ½ inches, Stapled illustrated wrappers, 96 pp. + folded 14 x 8 ½ inch type form letter and a typed promotional scrap of paper intermittently tipped in. Faintly creased and edge-worn with a few small spots to edges of wrappers and some light toning to black and white pages; color pages fresh and bright. Very Good.

A beautifully illustrated catalog for “the latest and most desirable patterns” of carpets, rugs, linoleums and curtains produced by Haskins Cash Store of Perth, North Dakota. The book is rich with vivid color photographic images of intricate, gorgeous rugs, price lists and yardage tables, and illustrations of all the accessories the “housekeeper” could need, like window shades, footstools, mats, “stair rods and grips.” There is an index to the book at front as well as “important information about sewing carpets” and promises of samples sent “cheerfully” on approval.

This copy comes with an original multi-color mailing envelope addressed to a woman in Perth, as well as a laid in letter to customers, signed “Yours for reliable house furnishings.” There are also small scraps of paper with typed promotional text (“Have you selected those spring gowns you have promised yourself”) adhered sporadically throughout the book.
