24 x 29 1/4-inch map folded into 4 x 6-inch blue cloth portfolio as issued. Gilt on front board somewhat faded. Save for some scattered foxing and light edgewear, the map is in beautiful condition. No tears at folds, colors remain bright. Very good condition.

This cataloger admits to being a sucker for 19th century United States pocket maps with their pastel-colored counties and hachure lines delineating topography. Legend indicates this territorial Washington map includes Indian Reservations, railroads, stage and wagon routes, Light Houses, Military Posts, towns, post offices and county seats.
