Spokane Falls and Its Exposition. This large booklet was issued as a souvenir of the Northwestern Industrial Exposition held in 1890 just 14 months after fire destroyed the Spokane Falls downtown area.

The book features photographs of the scenery of the Spokane region along with portraits and biographical sketches of "some of the prominent men who have made the city what it is today."

Includes two maps of Spokane Falls tied to real estate ads, photos of Native Americans, Dorset Granite Quarry, Bunker Hill and Sullivan Mines, churches, railroads, Palouse country, Stevens County, and prominent homes.

Truly more of a promotional piece for Spokane than an informational booklet on the Northwestern Industrial Exposition. Item #2175
