Collection of 69 periodicals on the Tobacco trade in the 1920's. Appears to be a compiled collection. A number are stamped on front, "Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia" while another handful have a seller's notation on front leaf. Condition ranges from fair to very good. Several issues have detached covers while others have minor to moderate chipping. Most are in good condition.

Tremendous, and little-known resource for the tobacco industry. This periodical, which began in 1886 served as a trade organization for the tobacco industry through lobbying efforts and highlighting issues within the trade. "Tobacco--A Weekly Trade Review" is a mix of market reports, current news, taxation issues, import and export concerns and various governmental regulations affecting the trade.

Each magazine is filled with industry ads giving a great snapshot of the industry from over 100 years ago.

Individual issues and small lots appear periodically on the market, yet none are on the market as of November 2025. OCLC search reveals holdings at Duke and Berkeley, and some issues held at an institution in France. This cataloger does not trust this result.

Regardless of search returns, these magazines are a must for anyone studying the tobacco industry or those who collect tobaccoiana.
