California Postcard Collection from the Golden Age of Postcards--304 Postcards

304 postcards, mostly colored, early glossy (glosso) photochrom and real photo postcards. Housed in a period postcard album (tipped in, not pasted) measuring 15½ x 9½ inches, with original art deco decorated cloth. Short split to cloth at bottom of front joint. Binding fragile and is splitting with some of the pages either detached or becoming so. Paper leaves a bit browned and brittle. Cards are a combination of undivided and split backs. Likewise, they are a mix of postally used and unused cards. To limit handling and potentially tearing corners and damaging card edges we have not examined each card. Some cards are dated on front. Overall, edges appear crisp and cards are clean. Should be examined in person. 11 RPPC's.

Album in custom clamshell box in red and brown cloth with gilt title on spine. Spine shows fading and cloth mildly soiled with bumped corners. Bottom front edge of box is damaged. Good condition.
