Sage green bifolium paper with dark green ink. Horizontal fold has led to minor separation at fold. 1/2 inch to front and back fore edge lightly bent but also toned. Interior is clean. Good condition.
This is an uncommon prospectus for Geroge Sterling's "Lilith", published by MacMillan in 1926. Lilith was first self-published 1919 in paperback, and then in a limited hardcover issue by the book club of California in 1920. Macmillan would publish a 1926 trade edition adding a new "Interpretive:" introduction by Theodore Dreiser. This prospectus includes both a portion from Dreiser's intro and also Sterling's prose.
