Scarce report from the San Francisco City Engineer Marsden Manson as presented to the mayor regarding the reconstruction of San Francisco after the earthquake and fire of April 18, 1906. Includes specific recommendations to re-grade Rincon Hill, widen roads, improve the waterfront and create an auxiliary fire system. Maps are color coded as to priority and location of work.
