Maps in very good condition. Rubbing to folds, especially evident against the red ink on outside folds. A couple of errant folds to outer leaf but not egregious. While they are not as clean as 'new old stock', the set presents very well and perhaps were not used heavily. Most, when dated, are from 1938 and certainly utilized into the 40's.

Who doesn't like a vintage state road map from a bygone era of full-service gas stations. Shell Oil kept their red and yellow motif for many years; a theme used on all their products in the 40's and 50's, even their service stations.

We'll scan all the maps to show the various states in set. 45 of the then, 48 states are represented. Item #2591
