Staple-bound booklet with yapp edges which are chipped and bent. Moderate soiling. Heavy foxing inside back wrapper. Staples are rusty. Interior of remarkably clean compared to wrapper condition. Good condition.

One of but many San Francisco earthquake booklets produced soon after the April 18 disaster. This one, however, appears to remain scarce with none on the market and only three copies recorded in California libraries as of April 2026.

In addition to a suite of photographs, booklet includes 9 pages of narrative detailing the damage caused not only by the earthquake but also the effects of massive watermain breaks and horrible fire. Includes a birds-eye view map drawn by Wm. Stevens. Item #2593
