Modern facsimile with all the trappings of a Nolie Mumey production, although the only evidence of such is a red stamp on first page, "Courtesy Western History Section Denver Public Library Nolie Mumey. As new.

Light green string-bound printed wrappers.

Filled with ads mostly from Salida, Colorado with several from Denver. Includes longer form articles on regional railroad issues plus little tidbits of railroad news and events. The only copy of an original issue of the Frog is at the Gene Autry Museum of the West, from the Fred Rosenstock collection.

Nolie Mumey (1891–1984) graduated from the University of Arkansas Medical School in 1916. He earned an MS degree at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA and MA from the University of Denver. He would practice as a surgeon amongst all his other interests. A true Renaissance man, Mumey was also a historian, author, publisher, poet, silversmith, aviator, carpenter, woodcarver, artist, and inventor. He wrote numerous books and published scores of facsimile editions on both medical and Western history, especially on his beloved Colorado. Item #2614
