Bird's Eye View measures 22 x 32 inches. Poor condition. Missing large portion of lower left corner. Multiple tears and folds; water damage. Several minor repairs to the face of the broadside. Will ship folded.

Despite poor condition, this broadside remains a rare promotional item for Las Vegas and its proximity to the construction site of Boulder (Hoover) Dam. Hoover Dam was constructed between 1931 and 1936 damming the Colorado River on the border of Nevada and Arizona.

The scale of this project drew thousands of workers supporting not only the dam project but support services in nearby Boulder City, Nevada and Las Vegas. This boom led to land speculation, especially in Las Vegas.

This broadside exemplifies this land speculation but sadly is missing the following text: "Here in Las Vegas, Nevada, the gateway through which the millions of dollars and thousands of men will go is your opportunity for profitable investments. Courtesy of the Los Angeles Examiner. 1932"
