Faux leather staple-bound printed gilt wrappers. Light soiling. Chip to upper right corner of wrapper. Mostly clean interior. Staples are rusty with rust bleeding slightly through to adjacent pages. Good condition.
Interesting guide to the correct pronunciation of Latin as used in the Requiem Mass. As stated in the preface: "It represents the pure, unmodified, uncompromised Roman-Italian pronunciation of Latin, the official pronunciation of the Holy See."
Each section of the mass is spelled out phonetically in black with the Latin below in red. The author had a little cottage industry with similar books for High Mass, Vespers of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Hymns for Lent and Procession..., plus the best-selling "Latin for Alter Boys." He also published cards the Benediction Service and the Litany of Blessed Virgin Mary.
